About

Founded in 1961, Ofori Panin Senior High School (OPASS) is one of Ghana's most respected second-cycle institutions. Located in Kukurantumi, Eastern Region, OPASS has consistently trained students to excel academically, socially, and morally. Over the years, OPASS has produced professionals in various fields including medicine, law, education, business, and engineering. The school prides itself on combining strong academic performance with character development to shape future leaders.

Alumni Association

The OPASS Alumni Association (Opassians) fosters a strong network among former students, helping them support each other and give back to the school. Here's how alumni stay engaged:

  • Mentorship Programs: Alumni mentor current students, guiding them academically and professionally.
  • Infrastructure Support: The class of 1969 donated 250 plastic chairs for the Assembly Hall to mark their golden jubilee in 2019. The class of 1984 generously funded a 12-seater minibus (approx. GH¢80,000) in 2021 to support the school's Science & Robotics teams.
  • Alumni Events: Hosts reunions, innovation expos, athletics meets, and cultural festivals to rekindle school spirit and community.
  • Networking Opportunities: Alumni are encouraged to connect globally via professional networks and join platforms dedicated to Opassians worldwide.
